ART AND CREATIVITY

ART anything intentionally made to express ones feelings. In other words, we say it simply means "SELF EXPRESSION".

There are several ways at which one can express his feelings. this may be through Music, Drawing, Painting, Dancing, Sculpture, etc.

CREATIVITY - The ability to invent something -usually based on Originality.

Africa - especially Nigeria has been in the forefront of exceptional creativity from time immemorial except for works of sculpture which Egypt has been noted for.

Being creative means having the EXTREME SKILL of self expression in an unusual cum spectacular way.

For an effective Artistic Creation, these elements are necessary to be considered:

• Color:  Manage your colors in an attractive way - avoid color riot.
• Shape:  Artyworks must be as applied to nature: as can be seen.
• Space: Consider the work space available  before even starting an artwork.
• Line: Accurate use of lines reveals the total message for better appreciation.
• Texture: This specifically talks about the surface of the twork as can be felt when touched - smoothness, softness, roughness, etc
• Form: This  refers to the visible structure of the work in relation to its shape.
• Value: The importance attached to the work in relation to its price and usefulness.
